SEAI GRANTS BREAKDOWN

There is a financial incentive available to aid you in the process of getting solar installed. The SEAI Grants offers up to €2,400 for going solar.

The solar PV grant value works out at €900 per kWp up to 2kWp; for example you would get €1,800 for a 2kWp system. Then €300 for every additional kWp after that up to 4kWp which would bring the grant value to €2,400. Click here for the SEAI’s grant breakdown.

You no longer need to reach a C3 BER rating to be applicable for the grant.

Pre-2021 homes are now eligible for the grant.

HOW LONG IS THE GRANT IN PLACE?

This is a pilot scheme from the SEAI. We would absolutely love for the grant to stay in place forever, however that may not be the case. It is impossible to say when the scheme will end or be downgraded. Therefore it is important to highlight that it is a pilot scheme at the moment.
